My research group studies molecular mechanisms of neuronal communication. To this end, we combine neuro- and optogenetics, electrophysiology, behavioural analyses, and super-resolution microscopy.
The Department is dedicated to understanding fundamental principles of Physiology. Our research-driven teaching program addresses how the human body works in health and disease and explores physiological variations in the animal kingdom.
