The Vice-Rectorate is responsible for talent development at the University in the broad sense, meaning individual development for students and for early career researchers at the various qualification phases, and personnel development for non-academic staff. The Vice-Rectorate deals with all strategic, cross-faculty matters of teaching and thus with the areas traditionally associated with a department of study and teaching. With the strategic task of talent development, however, its duties extend well beyond the traditional departmental structure.
