Online evaluation and surveys with LimeSurvey
The browser-based tool enables individual online surveys for e.g. evaluation, opinion research, target group analyses and much more. Users can create and evaluate questionnaires on their own. The survey results can be analysed using SPSS or Excel, among other tools.
Own cloud storage (Speicherwolke)
With the “Own cloud storage (Speicherwolke)” service, you have the option of storing files and documents centrally and synchronising them with different end devices. The files stored in the cloud storage can be shared with other people in a secure way and partly edited together. We currently use the cloud storage application “Speicherwolke” for this purpose.
RDM Consulting
We offer you comprehensive support in the implementation of effective research data management. The RDM team will help you with planning and implementation, be it integration into funding applications, the creation of data management plans or the secure handling of personal data. We can also assist you with technical questions regarding storage and archiving as well as the publication and subsequent use of your research data. Software shop
On behalf of the University, the URZ offers institutions as well as staff and students the opportunity to purchase a variety of programmes and associated licences (e.g. SPSS, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Filemaker, EndNote and many more) via the software shop. The software shop is operated by an external service provider (ASKNET).
Software: Citavi
Citavi is a programme for literature management and knowledge organisation. Many students use Citavi when writing term papers and theses, researchers often use the programme when working on scientific publications.
SOFTWARE: MATLAB & SIMULINK
Engineers and scientists worldwide use MATLAB and Simulink to analyse data and signals, simulate complex systems, and perform model-based development. Use the latest versions of MATLAB and Simulink and other MathWorks products to support your teaching and research.

Good planning is half the battle - data management plans in research projects and third-party funding applications: In this workshop, you will learn what requirements you will face in data management, how you can use data management plans to implement efficient research data management in your project and what aspects should be considered when applying for third-party funding.
