www.make-it-in-germany.com is a service portal founded by the German government to inform and attract skilled workers from around the world.

Our guest speaker Alexandra Köbler works for the German Economic Institute managing the platform "Make it in Germany". In the session you will learn general facts about the German labor market as well as what is behind the buzz word “Fachkräftemangel” and the role of so called hidden champions. You will also see what (legal) measures the German government has already implemented and is currently introducing to make Germany more accessible and attractive to international talent. In addition the presentation will show how the transition from university to work life can be mastered in practice. The presentation will also include the services of “Make it in Germany” and its network partners that are relevant for your job search as an international student and graduate.
