Last week, Leipzig University and the ARD Climate Competence Centre hosted a dialogue in the run-up to the COP29 World Climate Conference. The focus was on questions such as: “What action can science recommend for COP29 in Baku?” and “How can we better understand and communicate the complex interactions between climate change, biodiversity and human behaviour?” Participants included Professor Friederike (Fredi) Otto (Imperial College London) and from Leipzig University: Professor Ana Bastos, Professor Johannes Quaas and Professor Christian Pentzold.
