Abstract

My name is Henriette Habelt, and I have been working as a secretary at the Institute for the Study of Religion in the Faculty of History, Art, and Regional Studies since 2021.

Since 2003, I have worked as a secretary in several departments at Leipzig University, handling secretarial and budgetary matters.

Since October 1, 2025, I have served as the representative for the administrative and technical staff on the Faculty Council of the Faculty of History, Art, and Regional Studies; since June 1, 2026, I have been a member of the University Staff Council; and as of October 1, 2026, I will serve as a member of the Senate representing the administrative and technical staff.

After earning my high school diploma and completing an apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist, I trained as a foreign-language correspondent and spent several years abroad in Tanzania. 2006 to 2010, I studied part-time at the Fernuniversität Hagen to earn a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration.
