Abstract
Dr Romy Elze is responsible for (IT) service management at the University Computer Centre at Leipzig University. After studying business informatics, specialising in computer science, human resources and marketing in Pforzheim and Leipzig, she worked in various commercial enterprises in the fields of software development, application development, human-machine interaction, database management and project management. From 2001, she studied and worked in the field of computer science at the University of Leipzig and managed projects in the areas of human-machine interaction and service engineering. She worked as a consultant for finance and human resources and focussed her research work on eHealth service engineering and information logistics for the healthcare sector. She completed her doctorate at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science with the topic "eHealth Service Engineering for rare diseases using the example of ALS".
