Professor Debashis Ghosh

I'm pretty saddened and stunned by Sayan's sudden passing. We graduated roughly the same time and were academic peers and colleagues throughout the years. We've had numerous research exchanges, and I had the pleasure of inviting him to give a couple of talks in Colorado in 2019. In this era where it has been constantly disruptive as to the place and meaning of academia, Sayan was an old-school academic in all the good ways. Super brilliant, kind and hilarious - he will be greatly missed.
